I can relate to this, I ran a shop for a few years. The thing is, those 'customers' are not the owner's friends, but since those kinds of geeks don't have many real-world friends the guy who works the counter becomes their main social contact. There were quiet days at my shop where I would be told excrutiating details about one guy's Battlestar Galactica LARP group, and telling him I had work to do did not discourage him.

That is a bit TOO cruel.

But wow, fucking comic book shops are sort of doomed. The issues cost way too much, everyone gets fucked on margins (except Diamond) and no one wants to interact with the people in the comic book shops.

I imagine it's the "THE definitive Bruce Banner" bit that he is thinking of.

Got to be a pretty impressive performance to manage that in a film where his screen time is shared with many others and he probably doesn't get to show much of a range. I'll wait till I see it though. I actually really liked Nortans acting in Hulk, Eric Banners was less than stellar.

Oh Narradisall right. I was talking about "THE definitive." You don't have to diss you own cast, but that's like a glove slap to Norton. Glove slap to Bixby too. He could have stopped with the first sentence, but he took it to far.

I haven't seen Ruffalo in action, but he has a cameo in Iron Man and the Avengers; Where no one will give a shit about him cause the Hulk is the deus ex badass folks want to see. Now maybe if they do another Hulk movie with Ruffalo then you can make claims like "THE definitive" cause then folks get a equal amount of time to compare and judge on their own. I know he's a solid actor though. But don't pretend he isn't a placeholder.

Some outlets are reporting that they actually filmed another scene - to be placed after the credits - after the premiere. Some places seem to think Downey & Ruffalo were just being sarcastic/joking, but a lot of others think it's a real thing.

The picture on the website does really make it look like Iron Man and the Avengers.

Any word on if they where ever going to have sequels to this? I know Thor, Iron Man and Capt got follow up movies; but are the Avengers done after that? I think I even heard their maybe a Nick Fury movie set in the past.

They're going to do Avengers 2. They have to; it's going to make too much money not to do a sequel. The only question is who is going to star in it. They may not be able to afford Downey, Evans & Hemsworth for A2. And Marvel is starting on "phase two" of their movie plans which likely means some smaller movies with lesser known characters: Ant-Man, Dr Strange, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Daughters of the Dragon, and Guardians of the Galaxy have all been bandied about at some point. I assume that A2 would involve one or 2 of the big guns and a bunch of the second stringers.

1) I think he already made that movie.
2) And I think he enjoys Stark too much.
3) Hemsworth is only getting started.
4)Evans, I don't feel he'd turn it down. Hell, I bet I can call him with a script for Push and he'd come.
5) Ruffalo, would probably want a full fledged Hulk movie first. Even do a little rewrite to it. I mean if he's that definitive.
6) Jeremy Renner's blockbuster stock is rising. Maybe a Hawkeye movie after his Bourne movie?
