I forgive ya but it does bother me a bit that people think that his only good game came out 10 years ago, when they haven't bothered with the sequel that came out a year ago. Sure, Spicy Horse doesn't come out with games every year but that doesn't mean that the game doesn't exist.

It was a really good game, dammit!

In my head, it's basically the exact same as the Freemont Street Experience is now, except star-trekized.

So at 1 AM you still have the mostly empty streets of drunken stragglers wandering past places selling cardboard-thin pizza, except they're dressed up like Ferengi, and the shitty topless club is still there but it has some Betazoid name. The cops have to dress like Federation Security officers and are furious about it. The huge drinks are shaped like various Borg ships.

Fuck that. At least we'd get a Warp Core Breech again.

Yes, that's an actual drink the Star Trek Bar had before it shut down

Any time I think of one of those theme places, I think back to the Itchy & Scratchyland episode of the Simpsons (BWTWF) where the New Years Eve restaurant is plagued by suicides. I could see a constant stream of employees jumping off of the roof of Ten-Forward after a while of constantly being in character, even if they're only bus boys or janitors.

In your defense, it is kind of odd that they didn't put his name in front of the title on the sequel, like every other game that he had a part in.

Yeah, I really enjoyed it. Was it perfect? Heck no. Was it a fun, throwback 3D platformer with an imaginative backdrop. Oh yeah.

We all know the real lucrative project for them would've been buying the Chicken Ranch and building a Klingon-themed brothel.

I'm curious what the full Neilsen questionnaire looked like. Some things like GTA V are conspicuously absent. It's also interesting that PS3 was the only console not to have any exclusives in the top 10 -- were there just not any Sony games to choose from, or were the respondents not excited about them?

I think they limited the survey to games which are already announced for this year. There's a very good chance GTAV isn't coming this year.
