Persona 3 FES on PSN!

According to the Playstation Blog P3 is coming this week as a PS2 classic and I believe it will be $9.99

I played this at work on a PS2 EMU PCSX2 and have since traded it on Goozex. I'm going to pick it up again and I'd like to continue on my save on my PS3 but apparently it must be in PSV format for the PS3 to recognize the save. It's in a .PS2 format from the emulator.

Googleing a bit it looks complicated, apparently a PS2 is needed and a few extra goodies. Anyone do this? Could anyone convert my save?

Damn, I may buy that again. If only my P3 save wasn't stuck on my dead PS3. I never did play through The Answer, though, this would be a good chance to do that.

Damnit, Atlus is getting to be worse than Square for rereleases.

I've heard that The Answer is kind of worthless. I'm not even sure if it has anything to do with your regular save, it seems like I remember just being able to select it straight away if I wanted.

Probably easiest to just wait for saves to show up online and then download them and cross them over. That's clearly not the same thing as using your own save, but if you are just wanting the New Game + stuff, then. .

If I didn't JUST buy Persona 3 Portable a couple of weeks ago on my Vita, I would be more excited about this news.

I've never played any Persona games outside of the first one on the PS1. I'm really enjoying P3P, though.... it's a lot better than I expected.

And it keeps that up for the entire length. It's a fantastic game.

Anyone get the PS3 one? If so, did they increase the resolution like you can get when emulating it on the PC?

Someday I'm going to play this series. I keep buying the games right when they come out and they never find the inside of my system. I even have a Shigenori Soejima art book that I bought a few months ago because I can't get over how beautiful the games look. If only I could get around to playing them.

I did, I haven't tried it yet though. I'll get back to you.

It looks 480p to me, don't get me wrong, it's nice and sharp. Still, no.

No.

Do not bother with The Answer.

Trust me. Youtube it.
