I think that's going to be L.A. Noire and Crysis 2 for me. Thanks for the info!

Wow, I may bite on that Dragon Age pack just to get Origins on PC, I don't even own 2 yet.

I follow the Amazon DD guy at Cheapassgamer. His name is Tony. Yes, I am a stalker.

I have been leery about Noire and GTA IV however. The Amazon reviews lament how they perform on even high end PCs...but maybe that was before a patch?

The trade in value for both of these games on 360 is more than they are for PC download. And I have both. Guess I'll be trading them in.

EDIT: I did pick up STALKER over the weekend for $5, which is in this sale, as well as Silverfall today for $2. Was going to buy the sequel/expansion but they took it off the site. I think there was something wrong with it according to the only review that existed at the time. But the expansion has fixes for the first game, so that sucks.

Looking at some of the titles, I wonder if this is fund raising by THQ.

I'm not certain about these particular games, but I have discovered over the last year that when PC gamers often complain about ports not being optimized or being janky it generally means that these games only run at twice the frame rate and resolution of the console version as opposed to 120fps on their l33t rigs or something.

I have a friend who bought LA Noire and he has a Radon5870 (a much older card than you) and he beat it and never complained about any problems.

That said, if you already played them, save your cash for the good stuff. Probably a mini-Steam sale for Easter coming up soon.

A few more of the stand out deals are Space Marine for $10 and Dead Space 2 for $10. And I was going to recommend Mount and Blade: Warband for $4, but they seem to have run out of keys. Sigh, running out of digital goods... but if it comes back, that is totally a steal.

Oh man, PC gamers are the whingiest people of all. Well, you know, the ones that do whinge at least. But it does sometimes make it hard tell whether games do have actual game breaking problems or are just poorly optimised. Which some do. But performance wise, if you're shooting for 1080p at 60fps you'll likely be a very happy gamer.

I didn't even notice Dead Space 2 on there.

And yeah, running out of stock of a digital product is bullshit.

LA Noire has weird issues on my system. One time it would be smooth as butter, then next it would be a clip show. I do want to check out GTA4 for ICEnhancer

I may have to jump on The Darkness 2, played the first one and was looking forward to the new one but didn't want to drop the full 60 bucks on it.

Definitely will give it a go on my more capable/faster laptop when I get paid next week.
