Lumines, Crash Commando, and Savage Moon Hit The PSN In December

So December seems to be a pretty good month for PSN releases. This past week saw the release of Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer, and it doesn't look like things will be slowing down for the rest of the month. Over the course of the next three weeks we'll be seeing a new game released every week, something that doesn't happen often on the PSN. On tap is:
  • December 11: Lumines Supernova
  • December 18: Crash Commando
  • December 23: Savage Moon
It'll be interesting to see how the pricing for Lumines matches up with how it was released on XBLA a while back. Crash Commando hasn't had any new info since E3 when it was announced, but it looked like fun.

Also, Lumines will have a cool looking LBP level:

I already have Lumines on the 360, it's fun, but for some reason I really don't get the scoring racking. I never get very far on the scoring front. Maybe it's the controls, I'm too slow:P

The rest, well, frankly, doesn't look that special to me. An RTS (I don't care about them generally, but this looks generic as well), Crash Commando could be fun, but I've got 3 or 4 Live tirles like that already and I never touched them again after 3 or 4 hours play.

I want Fat Princess!

The Fat Princess went to the Fat farm and got slim. Seriously, is this game still around? I haven't heard much on that but considering the controversy over it...

I want to know what Savage Moon is about. I'm not a puzzle fan so I can't get excited about Lumines.

If the price is right, I'll be all over Lumines on the PSN. I like the XBLA version but it would be nice to play it on a system with a d-pad that doesn't utterly suck.

That said, the price really has to be no more than $10-15 for the whole kit and kaboodle. I can get Lumines 1 for $5 at EB on the PSP and I think I paid about $15 for Lumines 2 late last year when I snagged it.

This may end up being my fourth time actually buying Lumines. One of my favorite games ever and certainly my favorite puzzle game.
