Watch Threshold. He is the series standout.

Haven't caught any of Season 2. Wasn't impressed at all with Season 1 but will most definitely give this next season a go. I have to back up a fantasy series that gets on TV! It is so rare to see them done on TV.

You almost feel sorry for the actor playing Joffrey. But he does have a very slapable face.

Maybe in the next episode Cersei and Tyrion can both slap him together. It'll be like Pong, except with Joff's face as the ball.

Threshold was terrific. Another show cut down before its time. Such a good cast too, Spinner, Dutton, Dinklage, & Carla Gugino.

Littlefinger has always been my favourite. Which is why I had a problem with them making him look stupid in the last episode. He's probably the smartest guy in the realm.
Tyrion is awesome to start with, but later on he gets dull.

Ya. Instead they cut it and kept that damn show about the aliens in the water after the Hurricane. I can't even remember the name.

I still remember the last episode of Threshold when the old lady is shipper shredding the FBI agent and I remember thinking to myself...ok this show just turned it to 11. Man that was epic evil.

Yea, that was the last ep? Whole town went crazy. Why not throw the FBI into the chipper?!

That and John Doe were fantastic. John Doe faired better, but left stuff unresolved to a small degree.

Indeed. An amazing series.
I didn't read the books for Thrones so I hope Dinkledge doesn't die soon.

My favorite little touch in the season premiere was Stannis walking away from the beach, and then pausing as if he forgot something and then motioning to someone behind him with a half-nod.

It was obviously Selyse, but she didn't get a second look at the camera, and there was no other explanation/exposition. Awesome touch for fans.

Got round to watching it. Lots of setting up the various stages for each character, introducing new ones and such. I can see the tv taking a bit longer to get through the books at this rate though.
