Yes, Metro 2033 is a FPS, but a rather good one. There are so few PC-focused FPS games these days.

Anyone here played Cities in Motion?

So far, just the tutorial. I like it and may try some of the scenarios, but it's a strictly transit simulator. You build stops for different kinds of transit around the city, connect the stops to form a line, put vehicles on the line and then let it go.

That's it.

Do you lay down tracks/subway lines? Or just handle routing on infrastructure that's already there?

Bus, Subway, Train, Trams, Watercraft, and Helicopters. For the metro lines, be them elevated, ground, or underground, you lay the tracks. You don't build roads though, just means of transit on them.
