It is, aye. The art style is gorgeous, and the music fantastic. The old race models are starting to look REALLY dated though. It was bad enough after TBC and Cata, but the Panderans really look good.

yeah they really do not hold up anymore. problem is, from what I saw, the Devs do not want to go back and remodel them.. which is disappointing.

Which was a dumb feature. Azeroth was fine the way it was.

Um, I think the devs have publicly stated that they are remodeling the old races. They made it sound like it wouldn't make it into MoP though. They're also rebalancing iLvls, to get rid of the ridiculous power creep between expansions.

Last I saw they would only touch the Ilevel if the player base wanted it in the xpack after panda

I think they're planning on slowly remaking the original race models through-out the expansion. If I had to guess, I would say they'll remake one Horde, and one Alliance race for each major patch, likely starting with the Orcs and Humans.

The free instant level 80 character is awesome. You can make a new character and level him up that way, so choose wisely!

Or maybe I'll do it to my warrior...hm.

Does it HAVE to be on your server? Or can I make it anywhere? (Main reason I asked for someone from Garona lol)

You can make it anywhere, but you can only use the free level 80 and realm transfer on one character (you can't level up one guy to 80, then transfer another character, in other words).

Gotcha. Signed up, picked my rogue (Since it was level 1 it made the most sense to push it to 80) and DLing the client now. Getting my wife to do it as well

I am probably going to be starting a guild on Garona. I'm still part of Clan Silver Beard, but most (if not all) have left for TOR. And the whole point is to play with people you WANT to play with. Playing solo kinda sucks, honestly.
