Even Dolphin seems to have issues, its like to memory manager is being a bit too aggressive with its purging.

Yeah, the browser on my Galaxy S is the same way. Sometimes it locks up and has to force quit, and all of my "windows" are gone. Bleh.

Sad thing is if I did, I'd just put CM9 on it and probably sell it off. CM9 for all.

I'm tempted to just change her touchpad to CM9 and say deal with it. But that's cruel. It's still and beta and what not.

Barnes and Noble updated the Nook app. And now it crashes when I open books on my tablet. It works on my phone, though.

I was going to get Kobo though to grab them Hunger games books for a few bucks.

Picked up a Kindle Fire when I saw that sale this morning. Was wanting a tablet anyway, and that is dirt cheap enough for me.

I have 4 readers. Go where the deal is. Although Kobo is making me change the density on the Touchpad to 160 which I find huge. Not feeling that.

Will 120 not work? That should be another stock density for the market. 132 is the 'ideal' one for the touchpad.

I normally keep it on 132 and I think however Kobo scales, it's not as smart as Kindle, Nook, Google Play Books(Stupidest name ever). On the Touchpad, it does work on 120(too small) and 160(too big). Work's fine on the transformer but that's stock density.

Its still pretty early on, but the screen factor is near to perfect. It's never uncomfortable in my hands and it renders my tablet almost meaningless. It's responsive and good over all. I use a headset ( actually been using the included headphones ), so I don't look like a total dork making calls. Finally LTE is fucking sweet, simply amazing, completely changes the way I use a phone. I use it to tether my laptop on the go, and having a 20+ mb connection anywhere is nice. Plus unlike my Xperia, it actually charges while being used as a modem, so I can basically use it forever ( the x10 would slowly lose a charge ).


The only two major negatives, the default browser fucking blows, and I don't like the haptic buttons, hit the (near useless) search button FARRRR too often. Meanwhile the Back button is in the middle, but they don't light up until you press them, making hitting back a bit of a guessing game at night. Especially as the touch that turns on the backlight still registers as a touch.
