Device manager detects external HDD, but it's not showing up for me to put data onto it.
This image shows what I'm talking about, as I'm sure the title isn't clear.
Keep in mind, this is the HDD I took out of my PS3, so I'm not sure that matters yet. I figured I'd have to format it...but I can't even figure out how to do that without it being listed up there. Anybody have any ideas as to what's up? If the drive was fucked, would it still show up in device manager? |

|
control panel > admin tools > computer management > disk management
Assign it a drive letter and format it.
