I have unlcoked the same base pistol shotgun and ar with veteran packs atleast 7 times a piece. anyone know how many guns are in the demo?

Personally, I hate getting the items from the packs with an RNG element. I've always preferred being able to earn unlocks at a measured pace to having to play enough to get lucky. I like Warp for one reason: biotic explosions. Not only can you set them off, but also set them up with it. Even on shielded or armored enemies, you can set up a biotic explosion with Warp. This is perfect for turrets and Atlases, where continuous chains of Warp-Throw with my Asari Adept will tear shields down and eat away armor even quicker.
Also, exploding a Stasis-based biotic explosion with Warp will Stasis anyone affected by the blast radius. This is extremely useful. Last edited by Lance Uppercut; 02-21-2012 at 09:10 PM. |

Each class I play is more fun that the last so far.
human soldier->trell vanguard->salarian infiltrator->quarian engineer next up: turian sentinel and asari adept.

I gave the MP a whirl last night, and I'm going to have to go against the grain and give it a big "meh".
Maybe I need to give it a good few hours of play, but it's basically a horde type on a small map, with occassional objectives. Not really anything groundbreaking and I haven't seen anything added that's really taken it anywhere. Might be missing something, but it was pretty lackluster to me.

Only thing I've been playing for a few days. Play on bronze till 12-15 or so, then move to Silver, rinse and repeat until 20. :P

I keep playing because i want a damn asari adept lol. but i do love my quarian engineer, throwing turrets behind people and shooting them in the back is great fun.

I am starting to hate the RNG "Veteran Pack" system more and more. I got a Turian Sentinel, but I want some other alien race to play. I've already got him and my Infiltrator near maxed.

I only hate it for alien races. I think it's fun for the weapons, upgrades, and items.
I am also predicting that, at the very least, you'll be able to unlock the alien races by recruiting their species in the single-player campaign. |

I can't figure out what good Sentinel is for. Are you supposed to tank with that armor? The explosion it creates isn't very good though. And Warp/Throw are good abilities, but I have an Adept that does it better, and with Stasis Bubble to boot.

I was thinking of experimenting with a shotgun/melee Sentinel, charging into the fight and blasting foes with your armor's explosion. Also, the abilities for a Turian or Krogan Sentinel might be more useful, but I haven't unlocked those yet.

Yeah, they are a little bit tanky, but really they aren't worth using until you unlock the Turian version that has an awesome Overload skill. Warp/Throw are okay, but not insanely good like many other powers.

Turian Sentinel makes human sentinel obsolete the same way Krogan soldier makes human soldier obsolete. Yes, it is a tank.

Are there any benefits to taking a human in a class where there are alien versions? It seems that they're pretty rubbish compared to the rest of the universe in any given fields.
