Good PC headset?
I had a Logitech G330, which I liked a lot, but I busted it, and now I'm on the market for something else, because I need me some SC2.
So, what's comfortable? I commonly have issues finding comfortable ones from where I wear glasses, which is why the logitech g330 was so great. I'm open to ideas, so please, help me decide! |

Amazon is out of stock of everything. I always feel iffy ordering from "fulfilled by Amazon" companies, as I, and others on this site, have had mixed results.
Those Siberia V2s look pretty nice, if a bit out of my intended price range. Do you use them? Do you wear glasses? Any discomfort after 5-6 hours? |

I've got a Turtle Beach headset I'm pretty happy with. Find one in your price range on Amazon.
If I had to pick one, I'd go http://www.amazon.com/Force-Gaming-H...3967464&sr=1-1 |

I've got a pair of the Siberia V2s, and they're very comfortable, even with glasses on. I got mine for 40% off around the time Blizzcon was happening, so I lucked out.
Alternatively, you could get a good pair of regular headphones, and get a clip-on mic. |

I'm pretty pleased with my Turtle Beach X12 unit. It can be used with a XBox360 too.
Reasonably priced; I got mine at a local department store, Fred Meyer, when they had a 20% off gaming accessories sale. $59 x .8 = $47.20. They are an over the ear type so they block out a lot of ambient noise and they are quite comfortable over my glasses. They use the headphone and mic jacks and a USB port for power. Nice bass-boost if you like skull rattling explosions. Edit: Damn! Just saw that Amazon price.

Cappin flags since 1990.

Mid-priced Logitech G35 (can be found for 60-80 fairly easily.) Expensive Astro A40s (about $250.) I wouldn't bother with anything in between. I've done a lot of research and switching in the last two years with headphones.

Just found this... if you must go with the X12:
Toys R Us has Turtle Beach Ear Force X12 Gaming Headset for $30 with free store pickup.

Put me down for the razer headphones, the ear cushion is soft velvet.
Don't recommend it though if you're in a hot room.

Where at..? I saw about $100 + shipping as the cheapest I could find. 60! or 80 would have been instant buys for me when looking for headsets not too long ago. $100 for a headset is still too rich for my blood.

I picked them up for $85 from the Logitech VIP store. They aren't here yet though, since UPS won't be working again until Tuesday. My friend bought the wireless version last week, and he seemed to enjoy them quite a bit.

I got a Turtle Beach X12 for Christmas that I exchanged for a P11 (To use on my PS3 as well).
They both have the same speakers (50mm, most others seem to have 40mm), but have a bit different design. I tried both and prefer the P11, the cups don't awkwardly fold upward as the X12 and a lot of headphone designs do nowadays, and they also feel a bit lighter. Only downside compared to the X12 is the lack of a bass volume knob, but I haven't really missed it and it was kinda a pain to get just right. The P11 always seems to be spot on on its own.
