I really hate the level of respect the Sex Pistols get, horribly overrated band and this is from someone raised on a steady diet of punk.

The Dead Kennedys though... Almost the definition of punk.

As to Green Day, I am not going to hate on them because they are popular, I actually like Green Day. I saw them play with The Offspring and Metallica ( odd collection ) when they were the relative nobodies in that list and frankly they put on a hell of a show.

Problem is, they aren't punk.

I even have trouble reconciling if some if my favorite punk bands were even punk... Bad Religion, NOFX,Pennywise, all labeled as punk, but really weren't. I think its a production values thing or perhaps a lofi thing. Which also goes toward explaining why so much punk is frankly, fucking awful.

I had that issue too (seeing breaks, specifically), but suavepeanut said it wasn't showing that way when viewed in the browser, so it must be a tapatalk view thing?

I still get the "can't connect" issue the majority of the time I try to access CoG. No one else getting this?

I do on the great occasion, but I back out to the main tapatalk menu and it fixes itself when I select CoG again.

I have been seeing this for awhile. Going to the "Latest" tab and refreshing there and then returning to wherever I was seems to resolve it.

Ever since the Tapatalk 2 update, I can only get CoG to connect about 1 in every 6 tries.

Is the server plugin behind on an update or something?

I'm still having problems with this constantly. On every device I've used it on. Two different phones now, plus the tablet, and several different ROMs for each, and they still do it.

I have to try sometimes half a dozen times to get Tapatalk to connect to CoG, and if I switch out for more than a minute there's a good chance it'll fail again when I come back and start the whole process over again.

I have your old phone, and I haven't recently had any problems

I don't use the cloud functionality, though. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I turned it off and it still does it.

I'm beginning to wonder if something is somehow broken with my account. I can see no other reason why the problem would be so consistent across devices.

Alls I know is, that I repeatedly get a message sayign it can't connect to the forum, and to contact my forum administrator.

So, that's what I'm doing.
