Amazon PC digital download sale

To compete with Steam, it looks like Amazon is having a major sale on the digital versions of select PC games. When you buy digitally from Amazon you may download your games an unlimited number of times so if you don't mind having games on yet another distribution system some of these deals are fantastic. Credit for the find goes to mattco from CAG.

Games of note are:

King's Bounty: Platinum Edition - $8.75 (Contains all 3 King's Bounty games. The Legend, Armored Princess, and Crossworlds)
Civilization IV: Complete Edition - $10.00
Mafia II - $12.50 (Is redeemable on Steam)
Grand Theft Auto IV - $5.00
The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Athena Bay - $5.00
The Undergarden - $2.50
Star Trek Online - $2.50

For those of you wondering if you can activate any of these on Steam, here is a link to the games that will work.

Personally, I'd pick up the King's Bounty pack if I didn't already have them. That's a hell of a deal.

Amazon PC digital download sale

There is also the Witcher for 5 bucks, so if you missed the steam deal, this is totally worth it!

ARMA 2 Combined Operations for $12.50, opposed to $30 in the Steam sale today.

I'm keeping an eye on Mafia in case there's a slim chance that Steam beats that price.

Thanks for the heads up! That's the best deal I've seen on ArmA 2: CO.

I'd never purchased a downloadable PC game from Amazon.com. Although the experience isn't as 'elegant' as Steam, the Amazon.com Game/Software downloader worked OK. I had no problem getting ArmA 2 downloaded, installed, and patched (downloaded patches at Bohemia Interactive's web site).
