Dev Favorite Torchlight Mods: Dog Eye Safety is Important

Never again worry about ocular injury occurring for your adventuring companions! (also available in Cat sizes)

Are you looking for something to spice up your next few Torchlight expeditions while you try to bang out those last couple achievements? Well, everyone's favorite Minister of Culture has rounded up a short list of Runic Games staff favorites for your dungeon delving pleasure.

From the article:
Quote:
We owe many thanks to our talented and creative community of modders – you guys have really impressed us! We couldn’t be happier that Torchlight continues to reinvent itself through your imaginations.
From pet accessories to new bosses and classes, this collection of mods seems to have a bit of everything without adding anything that would be detrimental to the normal flow and balance of the game. Hit the thread below and let us know if there are any other Torchlight mods that you'd give a hearty recommendation to or just to gush some more about one of the site's favorite Action RPGs.

Seems kinda cool. I dunno though, are there that many people here that still play Torchlight? It was a great game, don't get me wrong. But after a couple of playthroughs and no multiplayer, I didn't see much left to go for.

I know why they didn't include multiplayer, it's been said to death. But man, I can't help but remind everyone how much it sucks that it doesn't.

I hear ya, but since I bought the game ridiculously cheap ($5) I can't complain much. Worth it for the new Matt Ulleman music alone IMO. Plus, their next game will basically be Torchlight as a MP game.

There's no "basically" about it. Their next game is a free-to-play Torchlight MMO.

I still play the crap out of it, trying new mods and such.

Plus, I love the fact they all pretty much use the Brock Samson skin. That's hilarious.

You know we need a:

Vanquisher Skin

and a:

Alchemist Skin for the trifecta.

And perhaps a:

boss.

Ok, I'm done.

I enjoyed Torchlight, but have played only a few hours.

I just can't play these types of games without multiplayer. It's just.... dull... to me without it.

That's exactly what got me interested again. I haven't actually found anything yet.

I really need to fire this game up again at some point. It's a ton of fun.

I might give some of these mods a go.
