Well, I can play guitar, I played guitar hero 2 once, loved it but never bought any of them them. This has me interested. Might be fun at the right price. You know....fun? Lets see what it costs first though.

All I know is that that guitar better be awfully cheap considering it looks like the neck, head and body is made entirely of plastic

Hey, maybe if they actually make their game actually teach playing guitar, I can find use for the two I have lovingly collecting du... I mean on display in my basement!

and as far as JA3... F YES!!!! Jagged Alliance 1+2 are two of my favorite games ever. I'm curious to see how different it would come out though, as that style of game (turn based isometric tactical) seems a bit of a passe genre.

Guitar game looks great for people just tired of guitar hero and actually want to try a real guitar with the game and learn at the same time.

If it were only made of plastic, the tension from the strings would break it apart. It has to be at least reinforced.

An all plastic electric guitar with humbucker pickups... it will probably create a whole new sound. I can't tell if it has any front pickups for a meatier sound. Having only rear pickups will result in a crunchy sound lacking bass.

All I managed to do with a real electric guitar growing up was break a lot of strings and play the first few notes of Heart Shaped Box. And an awesome version of Eine Kleine Nacht Muzik.

Y'know, the way it's worded, I don't see why they could just sell you an adapter that you could use any electric guitar on.

Also, I would happily buy a $200 version of this game.

I tried out Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge, which was JA3 until the license got pulled from them.. It's really bad.
