A lot of DS titles go out of print way too quickly. I haven't bought a DS title in ages, partly because a lot of the games I'm interested in are only available on EBay for ridiculous prices.

Yeah, but Tetris DS was published by Nintendo, if I'm not mistaken, and sold something like 2 million copies. And it's bloody Tetris.

Why it, of all things, isn't lining the shelves at retailers is beyond me. I traded my copy in way back in the day in a fit of stupidity and also figuring that if I did want to get it again, I'd never have a problem finding it because, well, IT'S TETRIS!

Nope. More fool me, I guess.

There are plenty of Nintendo-published titles that are out of print on the DS. I doubt many of them sold 2 million copies, but still it is definitely more common than it should be.

Wait, they stopped publishing Tetris DS? That's...er, well, too odd for words. Rather glad I still have my copy, now. I also have a copy of Hotel Dusk, but I never got around to even playing - from the sound of things, perhaps I should...

Yeah, but it's TETRIS!

I mean, if they're still making and selling millions of copies of Mario Kart DS every year, what, 4 years after its launch, why on earth did they stop Tetris?

I highly recommend that you play Hotel Dusk. It's a great game.

Any game you actually PLAYED instead of collecting dust in your ever growing backlog is beyond just a simple recommendation: it's considered an instant classic

I've finished a number of games over the years. I've bought way more than I've finished, but still...

He never said he played it. Just that it's a great game and that it should be played. Methinks Maggie watched someone else play it on Youtube...

Excuse me?

For your information, I did play through the entire game. How dare you question me!

Oh, nice. I finally got around to starting the original; I'm not far in, but I am digging the art style.
