The Week Ahead: Community Calendar (Turkey Week Edition)

The holiday season is upon us this week, so Happy Thanksgiving to all the lucky ones who have a short workweek! Start off by checking out what's new this week over at The Weekly Release, then head over to the Weekday Gamer thread and tell us all about what you're going to be playing. I'm sure that the holidays won't preclude our gaming habits, so let's take a look at the goings-on (or gamings-on, if you prefer) at the Colony this week:

TuesdayWednesdayThursday (Thanksgiving!)FridaySaturday
Click on any calendar event and you can request to receive an email reminder of the event. Never miss a frag-fest again! Do you have a gaming event that you want to promote here? Post it on our community calendar!

My only comment on Shadowrun is...people actually not only STILL play it, but are ENJOYING it enough to continue?? It's a travesty of a game...it's like if someone took Warhammer and made it a Football ga-......Point Withdrawn.

Shadowrun was a fantastic FPS. I'd say it is the game I've put the most time in this gen. Hell I have it for both 360 and PC.

The game is the most balanced team based shooter this generation. Not only that, it's incredibly deep.

So yes, we still enjoy it. It's still a ton of fun. And believe it or not, there's still quite a few people playing it online in match making.

Looking forward to playing MW2 with some CoG folks tonight! Should I just be online around 6ish and people will set up parties? I've never really participated in one of these things before.
