I recall using a Wavebird on my Wii for some VC games. But I gotta admit, I like the classic controller.

I'd like to get one, but that would require money, something that is in short supply right now. And really, if I don't need to spend it, I'd rather not.

The Wavebird works, but SNES games generally used the B button as the primary button, and Nintendo didn't bother switching A and B when using a GameCube controller, so its awkward.

I may pick up a second Classic Controller for Super Mario Kart.

Good point. I think I've never really used my Classic Controller because I can always just fire up the Wavebird instead.
