Free DLC Coming For Need for Speed: Shift
EA has announced a new batch of DLC for Need for Speed: Shift, and this time the content it free. The "Team Racing" will add five new cars and one new online mode to the game. The "Team Racing" pits two teams of up to six racers each against one another for points supremacy. The pack also adds the following cars to the game: • 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427 • 1967 Shelby GT-500 • 1969 Dodge Charger R/T • 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T • 1998 Toyota Supra Mark IV The Team Racing pack will be available on XBLA on December 1 and on PSN on December 3. |

Free? From EA?? The only possibility is that Shift is not selling as well as they thought it would. I wouldn't be surprised. It's STILL not the game I wanted. I'm holding out for Split/Second. That's the racing I want.

EA actually releases more free DLC than just about anyone. Some of it is small, but they release at least some free DLC for almost every game. I think in part it's because of their deal with Microsoft; they can put the stuff out for free in a quantity other publishers can't.
