Friday Has Come,

And soon, our world will be filled with howling screeching madness dressed in fashions that seem to be covered in equal parts ennui and glitter.

I, of course, speak of the Twilight: New Moon flick coming out. I am, needless to say, not exactly a fan of the books. What I read of Twilight (pretty much up until everyone in town loves the main Mary Sue of the novel Bella so much that her life is hard) was not what I wanted in a vampire novel.

Without the excesses of Poppy Z. Brite, and the melodramatic homoeroticism of Anne Rice, vampires just seem so lame now.

Ha! Loved this comic. I've had some story ideas about someone visiting themselves and what would the younger self say to the older self. I like your versions outcome much better...

As for the Twilight books...I enjoy reading the very male commentary on the books and movies.

To be fair, I'm clearly outside of the demographic. But on my side is the fact that the characters are paper thin, and the plots are revisited from old RPGs from the 90s.
