Howdy-Doo!

Well, Pandemic is closing. They were super nice to me when I emailed them a long time ago for images for a Mercs 2 comic I was doing. They gave me a couple shots that helped me create a fairly funny strip.

When they merged with BioWare, I was ecstatic, and their work has been solid. Believe me, if you haven't played Mercs 2, you haven't had the kind of fun that needs to be in sandbox games.

Now they're being closed, and their IPs shipped to EA Montreal. Outsourced twice! Double trouble! (As Eddie Izzard would say)

Here's to the folks at Pandemic who were laid off, and I hope they find work soon.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on Mercs 2. I spent way too many hours on that game and I don't regret any of it.
