US PSN Update 11/19
A pretty meaty update this week, with the US finally seeing the PSP app for PS3 allowing online play for previously adhoc only games, appropriately called adhoc Party. There's also a pair of classic PS1 games that any gamer should play if they haven't already, as well as Peggle. The full list from the PlayStation Blog:

Hmmmm... They've made it a little harder for us hacked PSPers but I'll have to snag these two somehow.

I find it extremely odd that Adhoc Party is unusable unless you have your PS3 hooked up by ethernet cable as opposed to using wireless. Not the biggest deal for me, but I can see where it will alienate some people.

Adhoc Party lets you play your PSP games online through said games adhoc options. It's a neat idea and I'm really glad they've done it, but I think it's going to be very limited as not everyone is going to own all of the necessary equipment and have the necessary set up. I'm not counting that against them, though, since it's such a unique feature. |

Probably won't show up till they stop selling the collectors editions in stores.

I feel for the people who bought Go and would like to play 80% of EXISTING games as well. I am still in shock at the lack of Go support. Was the darn thing just released as a fashion statement? I'm starting to think yes.

$5.99 is a great price point for these PS1 classics. So very tempting.
