That video was pretty impressive, especially the audio.

But I also found it a bit troubling. I think we are finally getting uncomfortably close to the point where these war games are replicating reality enough that Jack Thompson's charge of "murder simulators" are starting to register with me.

Resident Evil, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy and Mario are all quirky and weird and have no parallel to real life. This does.

Definitely visually stunning and all that. However, any time I see a guy running around no scoping people with a sniper rifle, I get a bit sad.

Looking good, looking good. I really should just pre-order this game already, considering how much I loved the first one.

One thing, though: I haven't seen any proper trailers (not to say they're not out there), so does anyone know if the game looks to have the same humor as the first?

I'm pretty sure he scoped each time he fired.

Anyway, this clip and the others available on GT have me remembering the old days of BF2 and how great some of those matches were. If this game holds up to these videos, this could end up being my favorite war FPS. The destructibility - both strategic and offensive - is great.

Looked that way to me, too. And when he wasn't, he had out his pistol.

That's what I'm wondering as well. All the video I can find seems to focus on gameplay and, I presume, how badass it is compared to MW2.

Indeed, the heavy focus on the multiplayer (as much as I may have loved it before) has me a little worried. As far as the story, I read that, yes, the original characters will apparently return...but that's all.
