In Other News...November 17

- Famitsu is reporting that Suda 51's No More Heroes will be heading to the PS3 and 360.

- Soon you'll be able to buy a Wii and WiiFit at Sports Authority stores. Why? Why not!

- The box art has been revealed for Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect 2.

- Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, late of EA's Visceral Games, have founded Sledgehammer Games for Activision in the SF Bay Area. They're working on an unnamed game which may be the rebirth of an old franchise.

- A dedicated (and some would say crazy) fan is creating an HD mod for Dragon Age: Origins which is supposed to greatly enhance the graphical textures in the game.

- Pre order Lost Planet 2 and play as...Resident Evil's Albert Wesker in multiplayer mode. I don't really get it either.

You don't? Iconic character from one of Capcom's most popular franchises? Hell, he's THE iconic character from the franchise, unless you count zombies.

But what's he doing in Lost Planet?

It's like the Akuma code to play as Akuma in RE 2 being real.

No More Heroes coming to 360? I will buy it day one. I think I predicted this one a LONG time ago, but I'm so glad it's finally happening.

Color me excited for No More Heroes. The original is a ton of fun, but too blocky for my modern tastes.

I suppose this would be with Natal (No More Heroes)?

I mean...the Wii controller is the main reason that game is any fun.

Or like Frank West being playable in Lost Planet?

Capcom has been doing this sort of thing for years.

Really? I think the Wii controller holds it (and virtually every other Wii game) back.

If it had usable camera controls, I might rebuy it...at the same $20 I paid for the Wii version.

Dilemma... I finally ordered No More Heroes about 2 months ago from playasia and just today got an email saying they are out of stock (dunno why it took them that long to figure out).

Strange coincidence, but now do I buy it elsewhere or wait for one of these versions?

you just liked shaking the remote because it reminded you of your other favourite past time.

Box arts for B2 and ME2 look lame. ME2 looks like a harlequin romance novel.

That is of Suda51's interest. Natal that is.

Have you actually played it? NMH has some of the most beautiful motion controls on the Wii. Shaking the controller to re-charge the battery is both intuitive and hilarious.

I concur. NMH is one of the rare Wii games for me that the controller wasn't a hindrance. I guess I can wave my 360 controller at the screen for the 360 version
