This Week in Co-Optimus


- We posted reviews for Fairytale Fights, DJ Hero, Tornado Outbreak, LEGO Rock Band and 7 other games (Brutal Legend, Torchlight, Forza 3, Mini-Ninjas, Half-Minute Hero, Obscure: The Aftermath and Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron).

- We're giving away some Operation Flashpoint 2 Military Kits

- Our first Halo Waypoint Co-Op Night was last night!

- The crew visited EA to check out SKATE 3. Check out the Interview and Preview

- There was also plenty of co-op news like: The Toe Jam and Earl Controversy, Kane and Lynch 2 Teaser and awesome Left 4 Dead 2 Shirts!

Liked the DJ Hero review. No way I'm dropping $120 for it but nice review.

So who does have the rights to publish Toejam and Earl? That's a damn shame, because that game was and is a classic and wholly unique game.

Edit: So Mr. Johnson, their creator, still holds all the rights to the IP? He talks about trying to find interest in getting a game published, yet is obstructing them from re-releasing the original? I can only assume that they either went over his head and tried to cut him out, or he's insane.

Sega also offered him "very little money" for their inclusion in All Stars Racing, and he turned them down. Hey, buddy, nobody's going to buy the game or not based on your characters. You don't get to bargain here. You take the small amount of money they give you, and you say THANK YOU.
