In Other News...September 25

- At the TGS, Microsoft showed off a version of Beautiful Katamari controlled by their Project Natal motion control system.

- EA's browser-based Battlefield Heroes has hit the 2 million user mark.

- The third pack of DLC for Red Faction: Guerrilla - called the Smasher Pack - will add 8 new maps to Wrecking Crew mode, as well as bringing the walkers to the new Behemoth mode. The pack will drop October 1 and cost 400 MSP/$5.

- The mad scientist calling himself Hideo Kojima claims that at one point he was toying with releasing a custom controller for Metal Gear Solid 4 which would be shocking...literally. They also toyed with a pulse reader, a transmorphing controller and a grip meter.

How about the in game ability in MGS to link the porno mags to a live porn subscription? Kind of like in game advertising. Dynamic porn, mmmm.

Didn't the either the creator of Katamari or Namco itself claim they couldn't come up with a Wii-compatible control scheme for Katamari games? Looks like Microsoft managed an alternate control scheme just fine.
