I played Mass Effect. I forgot this was on lastnight. I'll have to see if ABC has it on their website or if Hulu has it.

I don't know about you, but it proves I need to pay more attention to schedules.

I won't be able to watch it tonight, since I'm recording SNL and my roomates are watching Survivor, but ABC is reairing it Friday, so I'll catch it then.

After what ABC did to Life on Mars, I have little faith that this show will hold up over time. I am still insanely angry over the way they ended that series. So much wasted potential.

Lost and Heroes have broken my heart too many times for me to pick up another serialized drama. I'll just wait for those two to end their runs.

Eh, Whether you left Lost at season 2 or 3, it picked up and actually makes sense now.
And if you're not watching Heroes, you are missing out on a lot. There's nothing more entertaining than watching a cute little puppywuppysoggiewoggiesoggie...DYING! right? RIGHT? Awaiting Flash Forward now.

You shouldn't feel that way. Lindelof and Cuse demanded ABC give them a fixed number of episodes to work with in order to complete the story for Lost. I'm sure there may be an opening left if they ever decided to do anything more but Lost is supposed to wrap up nicely. We can only hope FlashForward does well enough to get the same treatment.

All I want from the Lost finale is this:
Jack standing on the beach, holding his arms out (as an allusion to his fucking God complex), then Sawyer walks up behind him says "Fuck you" and shoots him in the back of the head with a .45. That's the only way the finale can make me happy. EDIT: I forgot to add as Jack's lifeless worthless corpse falls it lands with an eye looking at the camera in reference to the opening shot of the show. Last edited by Zero; 09-24-2009 at 03:51 PM. |

I hated hated HATED the ending to the British version. When I read how they ended the US version, I thought, "Hey, that was pretty cool." Kudos to ABC for giving them enough advance notice to give it that proper ending.

Still, it was somewhat out of left field, since it was due to ABC saying "We're not picking you up, but we will let you finish your run". I also disliked the original ending because it was cliche, but it was the journey that got you there that was really good. Sadly because the US version was relatively short (compared to a normal US seasons), it never really got a feel for itself, so leading to that eventual conclusion was never explored.

Also, to be perfectly honest, I'm happy it was an out-of-left-field ending. In the original British version, there was never any question that he's in a coma. He'd keep hearing voices saying, "Can you hear me? Wake up!," or doctors chattering about his condition. I expected him to walk by someone on the street, have the guy turn to him and go, "You're in a coma! Wake the fuck up!," and then keep walking. |

I'm going to watch the episode again before I make my final verdict because I got a little distracted while it was on but so far I'm intrigued.
Cool fact, April 29, 2010 is a Thursday. Wanna bet they have something planned? |
