MMORPG.com blogger Paragus sat down with some guild leaders to find their biggest concerns with the recently released PvP MMO. Tasos Flambouras from Aventurine tries to answer their concerns
Yes [crashing] does suck. We're addressing the client crashes some players have been experiencing, most have been fixed but it's time consuming to get to the bottom of all causes of client crashing since this exists at the user level. In our current patch we've addressed the virtual address crashes. As for the server going down while there are sieges in progress, we are modifying the siege mechanics to address this problem. We already made it so mounts and rafts remain in the game.
It does sound like Aventurine is working hard to improve the game from the initial release in February. Despite the complaints, I do think the decision to limit the number of copies available for purchase helped them deal with issues other than just dealing with over or under populated servers.
