Uh, I don't think the iPhone has a left speaker; that's the microphone. They don't bother with stereo sound over speaker because the distance between the speakers means it would make little difference, and they need to put the mic somewhere; sharing a spot with the left speaker would only make noise cancellation harder.

I'm fine. In terms of NYC, Manhattan got the brunt, the low-lying areas of the other boroughs getting it as well. My friends live a few blocks "down the hill" from me and they are in a disaster area.

And guess what? I'm full-on omnivore now, as of a week and a half ago. Yesterday before the hurricane hit I went and had a chicken, steak and pork taco.

Tofu was my main source of protein, and it was getting harder and harder for my body to process it. As I want to be aware of how many nutrients I'm getting (that is more important to me than anything else) I went full-on omnivore. Still have yet to have bacon, though. I'm being healthy about it (the tacos were a "If I die I want to eat this before I go" thing).

So now when you come visit, we can go to the Fette Sau (the missus and I are going in a couple of weeks). Gotta say, nothing beats a good steak taco.

The absolute BS that is the Facebook app for Android. Refuses to load a new notification, but when I decide to just view latest posts and that screen slides out, I can see the notification post in passing, swing it back in place and the app tries to reload it again.

The work around, only partially slide out the post in order to read it. BS.
