Undecided on if I liked.
It was a weird one. Played through it a couple times to see if I could figure out what was going on. Might mess around with it again some time.

Finished Dear Esther. I think you have to be in a very specific mood for that game, and after Hotline Miami I was. Liked.

Kinda how I felt. Was pretty unsatisfied by the end.

What I gathered from perusing this list is that Coggers like all games.

I'm actually surprised we have as many dislikes as we do. Why finish a video game that you don't like? It is a leisure activity, after all, and generally a much bigger time commitment than, say, a movie.

Finished Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. Liked. Not sure if you want to count that as a finish or a replay, but I'll leave that decision to you fine folks.

Last year, when we had a 'Whatcha Think' kind of database separate from the Finished Games database, there were far more dislikes.

Since we're keeping to finished games only this year, I'm with The Keck. I have a few games that I will finished despite not enjoying them but they tend to be short games or there was some reason to slog through them to the end. I think of the Force Unleashed games as being examples of this for me. I loved the story in the first one but the game itself drove me to fits of rage I've rarely experienced. I'd have it in my Finished pile but it was most definitely not a like.

Reviewers or the unemployed may have the wherewithal to slog through unplayable messes, but given how few hours I have to sit down with games these days and the number of games I enjoy that get left unplayed because of said time constraints, I'll very rarely bother with the crappy ones after an hour or two.

I love this game. I'm ready for more DLC or Arkham Country or whatever.

Sometimes the ending is so terrible, like LA Noire.

Fallout: New Vegas - Dead Money - complete. Eh, didn't hate it, but didn't particularly love it either.

We're still doing DLC like that, right?

Hey, I haven't been around in awhile. I can add Assassin's Creed 2 to the list. Loved it. Started up Brotherhood now. No way I'll get finished in time to play the new one anytime soon, but so glad I didn't give up after disliking the first one.

ALSO:

Finished New Super Mario Bros 2. Liked it okay.

I think for DLC that adds proper story/missions, etc., sure.

Dishonored. I'll put it as a qualified like. I was never a huge fan of the Thief series, but I had fun.

Irritated with the fact that AFAIK, I didn't kill anyone, but I didn't get a credit for a no-kill run.

It's possible someone was "killed" after you knocked them unconscious. If rats ate the body, or if the body slipped into water to drown. Groups of rats is an easy way to lose the no-kill. I saw many groups of rats just come from nowhere to eat an unconscious body.

Finished Sleeping Dogs: Nightmare in North Point (DLC). Loved.
