I just pre-ordered the PSVita Assassin's Creed bundle to compliment the 4 games I bought for the system yesterday. Tuesday can't come soon enough!

I did that once with Xbox. Bought like 3 games before I could even find the console.

One of us! Get Lumines one day.

I already played a ton of Lumines on both PSP and Xbox Arcade. Unless there are some radical changes to the gameplay, I'll pass on this iteration.

Lumines has some interesting new things with some of the powerups. It was my go-to game for the first few months of the handheld. You may as well wait for a sale or for a dry spell later on if you're not sold on it right away, but man, I love it.

Some games, no matter how much it may smack of the previous iteration's designs, are insta-buys for me on a new machine. I need my new Katamari and Lumines, even if they're basically the same game I've been playing for years. They just make me feel good.

I'm waiting on a digital sale for Lumines, it's just one of those games I'll always want on the system to mess around with.

But I get what you mean, I'm the same way Hot Shots Golf. I must have put, literally, over 100 hours into Open Tee on the PSP, and World Invitational was the first game I bought for the Vita. I need to play that more......

Tokyo Jungle and Journey are indeed cool. Lately I've been tempted by Unfinished Swan and Retro City Rampage.

(Looks at PSN games I've paid cash money for)

Have you gotten Zen Pinball 2 and it's myriad boards, Shatter, Costume Quest, Age of Booty, Plants vs. Zombies, The Last Guy, Echochrome, or the Pixeljunk games? Costume Quest in on sale now, and it's a very fun and cute (though somewhat short) game. Gorvi likes to talk about the wonders of Shatter.

Hmmm...between the Borderlands 2 season pass, Tokyo Jungle and some DLC, and the Dark Souls DLC, I may actually be close to $100. Is there a way to check?

Shatter is good, but nothing too amazing, it's the soundtrack that's stellar. Probably be better to get that super cheap during a Steam sale, anyway.

The Halloween sale is still going on, so there's plenty to get there if you're looking for filler that's a decent deal. Dead Space 2 and Dead Rising 2 are both around $10 I think, Infamouse Festival of Blood is cheap (and really good so long as you enjoy Infamous), and a few others. Doesn't Okami HD come out next week?

I'm willing to accept that, because I have a degree in English and I don't give a shit about grammar.

Frobisher Says should be packed in with every Vita. It's not perfect, but it really does show off the myriad capabilities of the system sublimely.

You people, with your words and numbers. Words and numbers? What do they even mean?

Anyway, two new Vita games coming to Japan, and maybe here some day. First is Demon Gaze, which looks a lot like Class of Heroes on the PSP. Not much known about that one yet.

Next up is Tales of Hearts R, a remake of the DS game, you'll never guess this, Tales of Hearts! Yeah, so another portable Tales rerelease that probably won't make it out in the US, just like Tales of Innocence R.

It's more fun than it probably has any right being. I'm curious to see how much and how big the additional puzzle packs they want to sell you are. Very deceptive calling it free, you get a part of the game and then need to buy the rest in pieces.

Man, fuck that game. I tried playing it from the comfort of my bed last night, and the first thing it does is activate my rear camera and tell me to find something green. My lights were off!....and I have nothing green in my bedroom!!! I ran into the kitchen and found a pear in the fruit bowl, but the timer had already expired. I just wanted a little gaming before sleep, not a scavenger hunt around my house!

I can't wait to try it more when I get home.

Most people don't understand how little grammar comes into play when majoring in English of. I decided to end my sentence with a preposition just to prove my point.

Hah! Now I have to try this game.

I had a similar situation when I was playing Uncharted and had to put the camera up the the light. I was in bed and a light source wasn't within reach.

I'm jealous of your watch. I feel the hurt semi-anonymously.

Nice to see there are a few others taking the plunge with the AssCreed Vita. I wish I had the extra funds for the games from the sales but i'll just rent what I can. The list is growing on the games that I need to play.

Ha! That happened to me too. I just hit the home button and fired up Zero Escape at that point

Eh, it's the usual freemium model. I don't know how small the core game is, but just with the little I played last night I was impressed with the way it shows off the system.

You could argue that Zen Pinball 2 is the same. It's technically free, but I don't believe that it has any tables with it out of the gate.

It doesn't, but I suspect between allowing you to import any board from Zen Pinball or Marvel Pinball, as well as giving demos for every board, it eases the pain a bit.

But that presumes that you have Zen Pinball or Marvel Pinball. The demos are nice though.

True, and I had both. Honestly, for the privilege of being able to play them on either the PS3 or Vita, I would have paid a bit for the ability to upgrade the tables. But this way, I upgraded and consolidated tables for free as well as got them on a new system. Buying Plants vs. Zombies was easy to do after all that free awesome.
