I could swear I used a PC store to install games on my old PSP.

Either way, it's asinine that they don't have an online outlet for buying games these days. They're way behind the times with that.

Hmm... Interesting. I was worried at the start of the video that it was going the 360 route and just having clutter everywhere. It seems like a nice happy medium between the sparseness of the early PSN store and the incomprehensible mess of XBL's Marketplace.

I didn't like Smash either, but the scoring system here is different and the fighting feels better. It's just hard to get a feel for the characters in the beta when the only option you have is online play against people who have more than likely been playing more than you.

I think I'll grab Odin Sphere... I never got around to really playing it. And then I'll grab Okami HD at the end of the month.

I'm a little ticked at the lack of a PC store interface because Odin Sphere is on sale 50% off for this week only. Grr. I'd buy it if they'd let me!

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/620272-/61992869 Apparently you can buy games from Media Go, and then transfer them to your Vita using the content manager?

Yeah, compatibility varies depending on region, especially with older games when there was still actually difference between NTSC and PAL.

Edit - Okay, maybe not so much. It looks that way at first, but later on they show more in depth and it looks pretty good. Still, from what I've heard the store had some issues, so it's good they are trying to update it. I wish I had the time and money for a PS3. It's the only one of the current gen consoles that has a substantial library of exclusives that I'd like to play. The Wii has a few, but the PS3 has several.

![]() Nah, Spig's only real option would be to ask someone with a PS3 to log in with his ID and buy it, but personally I wouldn't trust anyone to do that to save $5.

And I'd rather take the PSN store as it is right now than XBL Marketplace anyday. Ug. Hell, just the dashboard alone on Live is enough to make me queasy... I think you can do that with the 360... I could be horribly mistaken though.

The best thing for developers, publishers, and gamers this gen has been to do XBLA first, then Steam, then PSN. That way they get the most money from many ports and all gamers get to play the game regardless of what system they own. Who takes pleasure in wanting to keep games out of gamers hands? The way it works now on PSN is only good for Sony but hurts developers and gamers which is why devs like Hello Games jumped ship on them doing an exclusive game.
