Hey guys, I reached out to the developers of Conclave and they've agreed to answer some questions from the community. If you have anything you want to know, let me know over here: http://www.colonyofgamers.com/cogfor...ad.php?t=27564

I love being a Nix Rogue so hard. I have the off-hand item that lets me dash without being unstable, so I get to run all over the battlefield and then turn invisible when I get too close to the enemy. Then run up to them and stab them IN THE FACE

The off hand damage was too much for me to give up for that runestone. I like the idea and will try it out my next game though.

We just suffered our first defeat, thanks to the fact that every single enemy on the map had a ranged attack and they all targeted the same person.

I'm starting to find fault with the way the beacon's healing abilities work as well. Namely that I have a whopping two heals I can use one time apiece and each can only heal about one hit's worth of damage. At this stage it makes my abilities seem really underpowered. Also, there needs to be a skill that stops bleeding. I don't expect a healer type to have access to a cure for every status condition, but bleeding would be the one I'd expect the healer to take care of. Still a great game, this isn't just some angry rant, I'm just starting to feel weak compared to our enemies. I had to wait multiple rewards to get a new weapon, and the only difference between it and my old weapon is that it does 1 more damage. That's it. Kind of underwhelming.

I know the mission, I think. The key to it is a) level up your gear by completing other quests, and b) note the range on the attacks (I think it is 7 squares). Use one person to absorb the damage and keep the rest out of range.

The only problems are that my gear is maxed out for our progress, and the person absorbing those ranged attacks died. I'm not really upset that we lost; it's a game, it happens. I'm more concerned with the fact that there is almost zero character progression past the first few quest rewards. I haven't learned a new skill in who knows how long, and nothing about my character seems to get better. My armor has exactly one more defense than my starting armor. My weapon does maybe another damage or two. The enemies get progressively tougher and better equipped though, with a much more nasty set of skills. I at least figured, initially, that we would earn more uses for our skills as we went along. I can still only use my heals once per fight, which isn't nearly enough as the amount they heal never increases either.

I'd compare it to a game of D&D, where you start off at level 1 using a short sword and casting magic missiles to fight goblins. Fast forward, and now you're still level 1, using a short sword +1 and magic missiles to fight death knights. It just feels anticlimactic and there's very little feeling of actual progression.

Maybe that's just my opinion, but I really hope they do something to make you seem a lot less static in the future.

Yeah, it really seems that by now (my Vanguard is level 4, and my Runecaster is 3) that damage should be ramping up.

Especially on my Runecaster. He's wielding a weapon with Journeyman Fire on it, as opposed to his original that has nothing, and yet he does no more damage?

So, it seems that all of my party members have grown tired of the game. I don't really blame them, as the game is not terribly engaging. However, I'm willing to continue playing if other people are interested in joining. Any takers?

You have my rogue! Although she's a bit low-level, so we might want to go back and re-do some quests for her.

We have a True Bow, a Vanguard, and a Rogue. Whatever you think would fit in with that.

It'll be interesting to see if we can make it through this quest.

We should rearrange the party and put the Vanguard out front...

Is that something you can setup out of battle? Is it something I have to do as leader?

Outside of battle, anyone can do it, I believe.

It seems that everyone has the power to change their own position. So feel free to rearrange as seems best.
