So I'm at a loss: why grind the final boss for a better weapon? You don't need one. You won it.

Played many JRPGs. Never felt the need to grind after I won. Is this just I've of those inherent, un-relatable things?

Yeah, I think so. Kind of like how I hate platformers. There's just something enjoyable about finding newer, better guns for prawning Bonerfarts.

Oh yeah, I guess expansions are a legit reason to grind. Myself, I'll just rely on my abundance of skill... And my trusty Torgue shotgun.

Boy, you guys weren't kidding about the difficulty bump going into True Vault Hunter mode. I was shocked at how hard it was to take down Captain Flynt last night - and he didn't drop anything!

In fact, I haven't seen a single purple or orange weapon yet, just relatively low-end stuff that, even after a couple of level-ups, isn't as good as what I brought over from my first playthrough. That's a bit disappointing; I really like the guns I have (especially an explosive pistol that just tears through everything) but I was looking forward to the fun of finding new stuff.

Even as a level 50 with the Vault Hunter's Relic equipped drops aren't that spectacular for me. I've been getting better loot but nothing too powerful.

That's disappointing. I'll probably stick to doing regular playthroughs with all the characters before I bother with True Vault Hunter.

To really get anything good you have to farm Terramorphous or the Warrior.

If you're going to farm those two you really, really need to pick up a Bee. Makes it much less painful.

Well until they nerf it, if they ever get around to that.

I still can't solo Terramorphous, even with a Bee. My Siren just doesn't have enough damage output. I can get it to about 1/3rd but when the multiple laser beams start coming out I just can't get the job done.

I can farm the Warrior (kill, save and quit, reload) in under a minute with my pistol and the bee. Problem is, he rarely drops anything good (I got the uber crappy orange Flakker cannon and no oranges in 30+ more farms) and if he does, he falls on top of it and you have to go back and rerun the Hero Valley.

I tried solo'ing the Terra and that was on the other side of the scale, in that I did no dmg for 5 minutes before he threw me off the map. Healing Siren is obviously not the build for that engagement...

Bring on the pirates.

I can solo Terra as the Siren, Cata build with some Motion on the side. It's pretty tricky though and if it decides to swipe one too many times I need to second wind off one of those tentacles.

Tons more work than warrior, which is friggin cake by comparision.
