I wasn't disagreeing with you. I was merely saying that children are often even more annoying than dogs.

For example, there is a bookstore here that allows people to bring their dogs in with them. My mom went there once with me while she was visiting. She found it quite odd, until I pointed out that the dogs in the store were far more behaved than many of the children.

But yes, obeying leash laws is important, and I despise people who do not clean up after their pets.

A posted sign saying no dogs, means no dogs.

Dogs, at least non-working dogs, are not allowed in Toronto restaurants unless they get special permits and post certain signs.

Finally, there is a leash law in effect. You cannot have an unleashed dog on the streets in Toronto.

Going to lose mad geek cred here.....

......

I've not seen all of Big Lebowski. I've watched 10 minute bits of it 100 times, but never actually watched the entire thing.

I think this one has been mentioned before, but I think I will say it again.

I HATE the community at XDA. I simply don't ever want to root devices just so I dont have to deal with these people.

They need to work on making it more efficient. Every problem is consolidated into massive, thousand page threads, so finding solutions to your problems is insanely difficult. And good god, don't you fucking make a new post about your problem.

I just feel it could be handled way better in a different form. Something instead of "forum."

People who ride horses on footpaths and allow them to leave big steaming piles of horse shit on them. It's fucking disgusting. If you insist on riding your horse in a public space, then carry around a sack and a shovel and deal with the mess it leaves. If that's too much trouble DON'T FUCKING DO IT!

Cyclists.

If they're on the road, they're going too slow, and impeding traffic, just waiting to bump into my car and paint my wheel Wells red.

If they're on the sidewalk, they're zipping too fast and close to pedestrians.

Bike lanes are fine by me, but Saskatoon doesn't have many. I'd love for them to make more or for it to be legal to bike on sidewalks.

I despise cyclists on sidewalks. This happens frequently on campus- kids zipping down crowded walkways on their bikes. I want to knock them over.

Motorists that are such poor drivers they find it difficult to make room for cyclists that ride where they should.

Do we really need to have this conversation again?

Some cyclists suck. Some motorists suck. Some cyclists don't suck. Some motorists don't suck.

There, I've covered all of the key points we spend 5 pages hammering out every time this subject arises.

In general, unless there is a dedicated and marked bike lane, I find it difficult on many urban roads to fit both a cyclist and an entire car side by side in the same lane.

The main road into downtown Chapel Hill is a big hill that is very popular with cyclists. Unfortunately, it's also incredibly narrow and has no bike lanes. Despite the fact there are entire paths dedicated to bikes that lead to the same area, cyclists find it a great idea to bring morning commuter traffic to a standstill while they slowly ascend the hill. It's ridiculous.

It's unsafe to have a car and bike in the same lane. I don't care if there's an extra foot, I don't want to be within a foot of a cyclist.

The dichotomy for me relies upon comparative collision results.

Cyclist and pedestrian on sidewalk: Scrapes and bruises, maybe a break.

Cyclists and car going 50k:
Irish wake.

But silent is right, we've talked this over before. It just bugs me.

Cupcake stores. Fuck you. You're just a bakery that does one thing. Make good cupcakes AND cakes, you dizzy twats. Maybe a fucking pie. Even the cake boss has a full bakery, and he's FAMOUS for one thing only. Your whole menu and businesses is based on being trendy. I Hope you get diabetes and your children never learn how to read.

Fucking irritates me. Have no idea why.

No, there's room. The cyclist is taking his or her chances, just do your job and share the lane.

I'm not getting within a foot of a cyclist in the same lane. I don't care if they've decided to toll the dice - I don't want to be involved in a tragedy if one of us hits a divot. It's my job to be especially cautious, because I'm handling metric tons of force with a goddamn wheel and pedals. So Fuck that cyclist.

If he's doing 20 on a 50 road, he's breaking the rules of the road by not keeping up with the flow of traffic. I'd get a ticket for that shit in my car but since he decided to cram a leather seat up his ass and pedal on home he's a goddamn saint? Cut me a fucking break. Because he's green and trendy he gets blown by all the hipsters and yuppies no matter how many drivers he pissed off. He's a nuisance, and he can kiss the fattest, pastiest part of my ass.

And isn't this thread for bitching about stuff? Don't come here to defend when some of us want to vent, man.

For every cyclist that rides on the shoulder, there's an asshole with a bike that rides in the center of the lane, impeding traffic.

Yet, he's complaining about cyclists that follow the rules of the road.

The song "Telephone."

Fuck that's an awful song.

Like, even more than usual for a pop hit.

I say this as a guy who can find the fun in a lot of crappy pop music, from LMFAO to Carly Rae Jepsen, but that fucking song is just goddamn awful.
