Bee with fire shotgun vs. mob weak to fire.

Amp shields amplify each pellet in a shotgun blast.

The shotgun in that picture fires 9 pellets at once.

9(9K base+60K amp+weak to fire+various skill buffs)

The Bee really is ridiculously OP since it has no drain from firing. Its only real weakness is low shield level which just requires careful play. Getting ~540k damage buff on top of a ~90k attack is worth careful play.

That said, I didn't get the Bee until after I'd finished TVHM so I don't really mind abusing it to farm bosses with ridiculously low legendary item drop rates. I've only seen one legendary weapon in >200 hours of play and it was a grenade mod.

The Boom Bewm one, I went back with a L40 character and one-shot Boom and Bewm.

So I started with Zer0 and only level 6, and the ability is cool and all but do I get any other melee weapons?

There are a number of weapons that increase melee damage. Right now I have a pistol with a 100% melee damage boost for example.

Some weapons have bayonets, you swing those instead of your sword.

I was disappointed with the sword at first, but a melee focused Zero becomes much more fun as you progress. Especially when you chop a Badass in the back last second and watch it get thrown away from you like it was shot out of a cannon.

I think I need to respec my Zero. The skull choices I have on him are a bit haphazard.

I learned last night that gold keys are account wide, I thought it X keys for each character (I don't know why I thought this...) and not a shared pool of keys. Which isn't a problem, I'll just have to wait on using more keys.

He drops the best legendary mods for each class.
He drops rare heads/skins for each class.
Norfleet and A Nasty Surprise.
Probably a chance at just about any legendary as well, like most bosses.

I haven't gotten any of these myself the two times I killed him. His drop rate is just as bad as every boss which is kind of sad seeing what you go through to evolve and kill this bastard.
