I never played Jazz and wasn't a fan of the Unreal games. The art direction in most games he's done is so terrible it's hard to get past.

Nice to hear. I always feel some of the more well known 'faces' of the gaming industry tend to get a hard time. He always seemed kinda cool in tv spots etc.

I haven't much cared for his games after the first Unreal, but I wish him the best. He's always seemed like a nice, cool guy to me.

I have to admit, I really liked GoW multi-player. Loved Unreal, and enjoyed, mostly UT... Jazz Jackrabbit was amazing. A true classic. I'll never forget headshotting the one monster in Unreal, and it reaches up, trying to feel for its removed noggin and then falling to the ground. Or, the hallway that traps you, and then the lights go off, one by one... Unreal had some amazing moments.

Will be interesting to see if the new IP is anything ground breaking, or just another Gears with a twist.

I was actually a little sad to see there was another Gears game coming out. Although I loved the whole series, after 3 I felt it was nicely done and wrapped up. Yet I see they're knocking out another. Boo.

I probably won't play the new Gears game for the same reasons. The story is complete for me. I don't need to go back to Emergence Day and play through the same timeline again.
