The part that I've heard people say
"in the end somehow it's okay"... I've read that in some reviews too... that they couldn't believe he did all that carnage and there weren't any repercussions... When's the last time an action movie showed the repercussions of the actions in the movie? I don't get that complaint.

That Liam Neeson video is another proof of his talent. Gervais and Merchant nearly kill themselves from trying not to break.
Also, this is the trailer for Parker, I didn't see it through but it looks tamer than the theatrical cut of Payback.

So, I was talking to a line producer at Pixar and he said something that was pretty pertinent to our conversation here. He said that their contract with Disney mandates every other movie is a "merchandise movie".
