So has anyone gotten 3 Borderlands symbols in the slot machine? I'm guessing that's an orange icon and 3 Marcus faces is a purple.

Same here. He absorbs 1 in 4 bullets and adds them to your backpack!

Whelp, this game is much better running through solo than it's predecessor. It's much more polished and way less boring.

You can use them all on one character if you'd like. You should wait until you're fifty, then get 3 other 50s in your game before using them if you want to get the best possible weapons for your keys.

How the hell do you have 5 keys?

Slot Machine Payouts:

Any two with non-bell: White weapon
Any two with bell at end: Cash
x3 Bells: Lots of cash
x3 Bandits: Live grenade
x3 7's: Random Manufacturer Character Skin (Tediore, Vladof, etc.)
x3 Cherries: Green Weapon
x3 Legs: Blue Weapon
x3 Marcus: Purple Weapon
x3 Borderlands logo: Orange Weapon
x3 Eridium Bar (1): 4 Eridium
x3 Eridium Bars (2): 8 Eridium
x3 Eridium Stack (3): 16 Eridium

I've put around 450k through the slot machines, haven't got x3 eridium, x3 bells, x3 Marcus, or x3 logo yet.

I'm not entirely sure. I know we got one for pre-order, then I yoinked two keys off of Randy Pitchford's twitter, that leaves two keys unaccounted for.

If you'd done the .ini trick you wouldn't need to scramble in the dirt for codes. Patched out now.

What's a red skull? Too much level disparity? What's the level range you can join up with?

I don't think the game stops you from joining with anyone outside of your level range, it just lists that they are a bad match.

I love the kick-up in the elemental animations they put into this. My favorite is to use shock weapons because "it looks like an AC/DC concert" when you light them up.
