A good soundtrack elevates a good game or movie to a great one, and for a bad game, a good soundtrack covers a multitude of sins.

For instance! Dead or alive beach volleyball. The title track was infectious. But being able to use your custom soundtrack? Really improves the quality.

Me and a buddy had Insane Clown Posse playing. Ever watch women play volleyball to ICP? It is a transcendental experience.

Another thing I noticed... It seems it doesn't track weapon proficiency anymore, unless I'm just not seeing it in there. I'm assuming the Badass Tokens replaced this. I think I'm fine with this overall, although it was nice getting bonuses for sticking with a weapon type for a long time.

The game paradigm seems pretty blunt on breaking the 1type4lyfe of the prequel.

It does, it just does so now with the "Bad Ass" point system.

It's not that fancy, but this gun has been treating me right for a few levels now. Jakobs shotguns are amazing since you can unload the full clip as fast as you can press the mouse button.

No crit bonus and it is slag. Not a rifle I'd use unless it was the only one I had.

Here are the two I've been using quite a bit lately:

I want to find a version of the 2nd one with bonus crit damage. As it is I can 1-hit headshot most humanoids at ~24 with it. I switch over to the fire one for critters.
