A) that Allah thing? Mind-blowingly ridiculous and hilarious.
B) if possible, please elucidate the references you and your colleague made, perhaps using pseudonyms or something to skate past the Attorney-client privilege. For the lulz.

My favorite is just straight-up trolling. When arguing that my opponent's version of the facts was physically impossible, I wanted to quote Newton's second law of motion from the Principia Mathematica.
My boss's boss got involved. We agreed to compromise: I could quote Newton, but I couldn't just quote it in the original Latin without translating.

Ox, I feel like you could run the most interesting Q&A thread on this site with very little effort.

Heh, burn. Admittedly it'd be a better burn if Samsung phones weren't garbage too. |

Yeah. Plenty of double-takes. "Was that Simon Pegg wearing a horrible fake beard?"

Yeah, I didn't know what to expect with that Superman vid, but it was surprisingly entertaining and had a lot of cameos. I love how cameos like that happen so much nowadays.

One thing I'm curious about is the implication that it was the Death/Rebirth of Superman that ruined superhero death in comics. How accurate is that? |

Before Superman came back a lot of people who died stayed dead. Barry Allen, Jason Kidd, on and on. They're all alive now...

So that really was the turning point? It's been a joke about superheroes for so long I had never thought that Supes was the cause of it. Makes sense, though. I remember how big a deal it was at the time, and if Superheroes coming back to life was already a common occurrence people would've seen it coming.
