The fortnight off work I have starting next Monday. I have the house completely to myself the whole time. It's going to be awesome. Got a lot of TV and reading to catch up on and this will be the time, peace and quiet that I need to do it.

I could use just a weekend like that. Most of my recent weekends have been pretty busy and I could use some time to myself.

Yeah I try to get a holiday like this in at least once a year. I time it so that I have time off work when the house will be empty. I love my alone time.

I haven't been too psyched for anything lately, but I am psyched to resign from my job and find a new one. Though that's more of a constant daydream. Each day I crack a bit more but I don't think we can afford my quitting and I don't have anything else lined up. It's the #1 stressor in my life right now though, and I hate that. I've only been in this new department for 3.5 months and if I leave I am afraid I will burn this bridge since I can't transfer out for another 3 months. I've been with the company for 10 years and I don't know if I can take another 3 months.

Still, I'm psyched about quitting whether I do it or not. It's the only thing that gets me through the day.

I'm looking forward to fall. In my area, the weather outside is nicer and overall more pleasant compared to summer. I need to get out more and get more exercise, and it's one less excuse to hide inside.

Doing the Disney vacation thing October 12-19 w/ wife and 5 year old. First big thing all three of use have done together, not sure if I should be excited or if it will be hell. We shall see.
