Man, I feel your pain. We had to deal with this last month, with first the evaporator coil going, then the fan motor 8 days later. Thankfully both were covered under warranty, but it was still $960 to get it fixed. We're damn glad it is fixed, but damn if that's a financial hit that's hard to swallow. Better than the additional $2100 it would have cost if they weren't under warranty, but still.

Not much gaming last night, I was exhausted taking care of a house of sick people. Well, only my fiance and 5 year old were sick, but that still left me and my 4 year old to take care of everyone. To his credit though he was a huge help. I did get in a little bit, though.

I downloaded Zen Pinball 2 on the Vita and played the Iron Man and Spider Man tables. I'm not sure if I can see myself buying other tables, I royally suck at pinball, but it's nice to have.

I also beat yet another game last night, I'm on a roll now. UmJammer Lammy is beaten, and that game was tough. I was so tired I'm not sure how I did it, but I made it through the last song in only 3 tries.

I think I might start playing Symphony of the Night again, it's so nice having all these games just loaded right up on the Vita. I really should put time into Front Mission III or Legend of Dragoon, and make a serious effort to actually play through one of those.

I also downloaded Zen Pinball 2. I owned the original set of Marvel tables, so I got those for free, and enjoy it quite a bit. I've been waiting on Zen Pinball 2 since Spring, so I'm glad it's finally out; it doesn't disappoint.

Oh crap, I forgot that was out this week. The wife is going to be happy when she gets home for lunch.

After playing the version that comes in the PSP Dracula X Chronicles, I don't know if I could go back to the PSX version. At least, not on a portable. Lots of little things are smoothed out and improved, like the translation and voice acting.

It is a nice framework for the tables, and it looks like you can download demo versions for every table available, which is nice.

Ya know, I actually didn't really care for the new translation and voice acting. There's just something nostalgically endearing about the awful voice acting in the original. That, and it was free with Plus a month or so back, so it's not like I'm out anything. I still have the UMD of Dracula X Chronicles if I really want to go back to it. Hell, I should since I never actually beat the game.

I really don't want to be at work today. REALLY don't want to be here. I had a major event scheduled to happen today and it got pushed back to the end of the month, so I'm sitting here in an almost empty place just wishing I was home and working on P4: Arena or Guild Wars 2. Ah well.

Maybe I'll take tomorrow off.

I'm working on downloading on the PS3 and the Vita now. I suspect before the morning is over, the Plants vs. Zombies table will be purchased. What I've briefly seen of the interface is nice. The single direction scrolling on the original was slow. I like this new grid.

Don't get me wrong, the original is still one of the best games ever. But the dialogue in the prologue makes me cringe every single time. I don't miss it in the slightest.

This is hilarious. I would be laughing out loud for real but i'm in the office a the moment. I can't tell people or explain my laughter. Although my boss is a gamer, Persona is not a game he's going to understand.

@MMP: I want to have your babies.

Work gave out tablets/netbooks today. The big push to digitize medical records and all that. All our work come November 1st will be through a website with all the forms online. I spent last week making up clients to test the system. Bruce Banner and Tony Stark were a few of my clients. My boss enjoyed reading their intake assessments

So now I am in possession of a Compaq mini. I know I won't be able to play big games on this but damn I can run Steam now!! And damn this this is small. I didn't think I would like a small PC like this but...damn this thing is sweet. Now if it allows me to play all those indie games Mags wants me to play...

We also have Verizon 4G since we are given the opportunity to do all our notes etc right away. Progress notes are suppose to be done in 24 hrs. Now we won't have an excuse to not to do them. But still...access all the time....hellloooo playtime...

The first four came out here, but only the first Ace Attorney Investigations game did. They didn't bring over the second Miles Edgeworth game. Hopefully that's just because they didn't think that particular game would sell and isn't a reflection upon Phoenix Wright games as well.

I guess this also means that the Investigations line is considered separately. With the whole SMT4 or SMT5 thing, I seem to be losing track of what number games are supposed to be. Once again though, I just want the game, no matter what they are numbered.

Also, save Miles Edgeworth and bring him over too! You bastards! Don't make me go into whip mode, you foolishly foolish fools.

5. The four main games (three Phoenix Wright, one Apollo Justice) and the first Miles Edgeworth game. We've been denied the second Miles Edgeworth.

Hopefully we'll get this as well as Phoenix Wright vs. Professor Layton.

I only know minimally about licensing music but the little I know i've read it is expensive. I can't wait to see your stuff on Youtube.

Karak, Incompetech has some good PD stuff for music I'm told, and there's other royalty-free stuff out there for gratis too if you dig around. I passed on music and SFX on the ad for H&H because I couldn't do a good enough job myself, and would've rather just talked to the camera.

EDIT: Speaking of Youtube, YT's editor itself also has recommendations for free stuff to use as well.
