WeekDAY gaming (9/3/12)- What are YOU still playing?

Good morning, I forgot to write a thread. In my defense it is still technically still the weekend for me. So this morning I'm enjoying my Monday and watching 90210 on netflix while I craft and stuff. I didn't game because I'm a slacky gamer.

What will YOU play?

Loading up the car and driving back to NC today while trying to remember the series of crazy-ass dreams I had last night, including one where I was late to class because I'd been hired as a sea captain of a shipping vessel. We docked in one state and I had to run to another state for class, but I only had jeans so I had to go home, get my running clothes, come back to start the run, run home to shower, then go to class. Then it turns out class was cancelled so we could watching the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, which consisted of one person from every country wearing all their country's medals instead of clothing.

...I'll be playing GW2 this week.

I would like to know what your brain is trying to unload or work through when you dream. Your daydreaming must be pretty interesting.

After reading the "Non-Lethal shooter" thread as well as the "Best Game in the Series" threads I decided to go back and play one of my favorite games of the PS2 era, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (Playing the MGS HD Collection on X360, looks great)

While the game definitely has some clumsy controls and mechanics, it's the closest thing to playing an old school James Bond esque spy that I've ever played.

Other than that, I will probably dive back into GTAIV again as well, since I finished Sleeping Dogs and feel unsatisfied.

I keep thinking I need to get over Diablo III and start playing something else. But I'm getting close to finishing Hell with my fourth character.

SMT: Devil Survivor 2 - I'm currently in the last battle with the boss at about 1/10 hp, and right now I'm waiting for my 3DS to recharge so I can see if I'll finally beat it or have to try again. If I don't win, I'll probably work some more on improving my parties. If I do, I'll probably check out the NG+ sometime this week to see how many points I have to spend to unlock stuff.

Ghost Trick - I'll play this whenever I finish DS2. I can kinda remember the general story and most of the locations, but I can't remember the specific details nor all the abilities, so I'm going to restart the game.

Persona 4 Arena - I need to concentrate on this this week and try to make a lot of progress in the story mode. I'm going to play some now while my 3DS recharges and hopefully that will get me back into it. I like it a lot and it's been interesting, but I just haven't felt like sitting around and reading. Maybe that will go better this week.

The Last Story - I'm still only an hour into the game and didn't play any this weekend. I need to try to play some this week just so I don't forget about it. I have a tendency to never go back to games after not playing them a few days.

I'm not sure what else I might do. I may throw in Sleeping Dogs to mess around with it some before sending it back. I would still like to hear all the conversations outside the apartment, and I wouldn't mind driving around the city one last time. I could also start another game from my console backlog. I should try to play something on the PS3; maybe PSN+ will have something good this week. I also have been thinking about Radiant Historia, so I may restart that as I try to work through my handheld backlog. And of course I should really be playing most of the Kingdom Hearts games I have so that I can eventually play KH3D.

Edit: Looks like I forgot Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy.

It can get pretty odd, which is why I try to keep a tiny book with me so I can write down the more fun ones as story ideas. I record far less than a tenth of the random things I come up with. My highlight in the couple hours since I woke up is a story about a woman addicted to her dog's painkillers.

Yay. I finally finished a playthrough of Devil Survivor 2.

That's what I was going to say yesterday when I thought that I would easily finish the game by the afternoon and was referencing not playing the game for a few months. Now the finally refers to finishing it after spending a few hours trying the last battle a few times and grinding in between attempts.

This week, still working on Persona 3, and deciding if there's anything that I can salvage from the current D&D adventure after last nights session didn't just go off the rails, (which I don't mind), but logically leaves the players with no chance to stop the bad guys through their own actions. I THINK the bad guys win this one, so I'm going to have to make major adjustments to the overall campaign. *laughs* That's the fun of DMing, though.

Destructo bought Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 off of Steam on my account, since she's interested in learning how to play Magic. I wish there was a way to have multiple saves so I could play, too, without affecting her progress. I know, I know, I could take one of the decks she isn't playing with, but that's not fair to her.

I started up Torchlight for the 3rd time; each previous time I played I didn't get very far by being distracted by something else. I got to the 6th level last night and am about to play some more.

I will also be playing Skyrim this week. After this nice 3 day weekend, I work tomorrow and then have my first proper vacation of the year from this Wednesday through Tuesday next week (I have 18 vacation days I need to burn between now and the end of the year). Sooooo looking forward to some time off. I need the down time.

Everyday, I contemplate buying a Vita. Wipeout 2048 is calling my name. But I know that if I hold off two months, I can the Assassin's Creed bundle. So I wait.

If you're worried about unlocking cards in those extra decks instead of her, I guess you can just wait until she has fully unlocked a deck, and then you can play all you want.

I'm not sure how it works on the computer, but you should look into playing a two-player game with her. I played some 2v2 with my brother against the AI on the 360, and it was pretty fun. Especially when you use two decks that combo together well.

I will probably be playing Allods with my GF, and Dark Souls, and Forza 4 mainly.

We still need to have a go at racing, Purps.

Well, thanks to error 9 and 21, I am unable to play GW 2. So for now, I'll be playing MechWarrior Online, SWTOR, and catching up on my anime and Walking Dead.

Skyrim.

And getting a windshield repaired. Allegedly, the Honda came with a guarantee on ANYTHING that needs replacing (save for batteries, hoses, belts, tires, etc). We'll see if they're full of shit.

Fuggin rock.

Wonder if I can get them to repair the scratch in the side, marked by some asshole with his key the first night I had the damn thing.

Started playing Radiant HIstoria, put 6+ hours into it and then just got terribly bored. Out of that first 6 hours there is about 1 hour of actual gameplay, the rest are stupid talky-talk scenes that revolve around the same old whining. It aggravates me so much. This was NOT the game to get me back into JRPGs I guess. And the dialogue has been terrible so far.

On to Nostalgia, as that has actual gameplay I hear.

I didn't get much gaming done this weekend due to partying and trying to catch up on chemistry homework. In my downtime, however, I've been squeezing in a bit of New Super Mario Bros. 2, which is a bit of fun.

Also looked at a potential apartment today, so that's cool.
