I don't know if you guys are remembering it right, either that or I'm not.

Nuclear Man beat Superman on the dark side of the moon, burying him and planting the American flag on top of him.

edit: wikipedia tells me I am correct. Superman stopped Nuclear Man by putting him in the core of a nuclear reactor

Well, I was on the right track anyway:

Quote:
Superman lures Nuclear Man into an elevator, trapping him inside and then depositing the elevator car on the dark side of the Moon. As the sun rises, Nuclear Man breaks free due to a crack in the elevator doors
I forgot that he escaped.

That movie was bad, but the pieces of it sound really cool. Superman pushes the moon out of orbit to force an eclipse to rob Nuclear Man of his power!

And the resulting earthquakes and tidal waves destroy all of Metropolis, killing Luthor and stopping his evil real estate scams!

I would watch that movie. Might even buy the DVD.

Superman is recharged by the Sun akin to a battery. Not a direct power conversion like Nuclear Man.

Seriously, All-star Superman is the only Superman story that matters. It's Superman's Year One.

It's the best thing Morrison ever did.

The best thing Morrison ever did was the first arc of JLA. Up till the Avengers movie, there was nothing like it.

Which reminds me, Batman Inc. would be a great movie.

For someone who is a superhero superstar, and can move volumes on his name alone, Morrison is really misunderstood. I feel like I've come around to him. I've found his wavelength, so to speak. Even when I don't love his work, I feel like I can see what he was trying to do and that the premise was interesting.

I feel like Morrison's writing gets something extra out the artists, especially in the case of All-Star Superman and Batman: Arkham Asylum.

If DC ever gets out of the dark and gritty Batman phase, and they want to do something lighter, I'd love to see the Outsiders. Hell, just make it straight-to-DVD.

I would love a live-action version of Brave and the Bold. Rumours are flying that the Batman reboot would launch in WB's Justice League.

Damn you bastards. Thank you as well though.

After seeing comments on Batman Inc, and All-Star Superman I had to learn more. Thus began my wiki travels for most of an hour between the two. Links lead to more links, to even more links!

All-Star Superman and the DC One Million stories sound very cool Batman Inc, could be cool, but not a lot of info was available on the wiki trail.

I counter with "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?" The only thing I dislike more than Morrison is Quitely so All Star never even had a chance in my eyes. I did try the first couple of issues before I quit though. I owed it at least that.

Quitely is the anti-Jim Lee. His figures are not perfect, but he can actually tell a story.
