I would. I don't think any of those have any bearing on what happens in the game world and typically find people who go the extra mile to proclaim such affiliations to be annoying dipshits.

I don't care what you are outside of the game world, it only matters what you are inside the game world. Don't ask, don't tell works perfect for online gaming.

I'm only going to say this once, and after that, I won't bring it up again. We're an inclusive community here. Let's avoid sweeping generalizations and attitudes towards any ethnic/racial/religious/national/gender group or orientation. Singling out members of that group and making negative remarks about them for simply being a member of that group is discrimination. (Don't bring up "Nazis." I hope we're all mature enough to get what I'm saying.)

Furthermore, since I know where this is going, disagreeing with that group's stance on an issue, say a hot button topic like marriage, doesn't mean we shouldn't be anything less than respectful and tolerant in dealing with them.

We're all here to play and have fun. Keep the negative attitudes out. That's all I'll say. Back to GW2.

I'm planning on using Madcog as the last name of my Charr Engineer alt, so if anyone else wants to use a name that implies they're also from the Cog warband, that would be neat.

That brings up a question I had since I never played GW1. I know that in GW2 you can use spaces, but does the game only display the "first" name or can it be set to just display that first name or is the naming WYSIWYG as far as-game?

You're given X amount of space to make a name and it can contain spaces. There is no "First" and "Last" name fields, it's just a name, so the full thing will be displayed.

Just do what I do and hide General, Trade, LFG, etc Chats, put them all in a SPAM tab and never look at it.. There, all of your problems are solved. Also, no matter what server you go to in any MMO on this planet, you're going to find idiots in General chat.

I personally don't care what other communities are on our server, as long as they have people playing WvW who will coordinate, I'm happy.

They've said they'll have free server transfers at launch, so you might want to try out a few different ones before making a final decision.

If none of the communities listed have any appeal, I think there are still 3 NA servers that aren't in the list at all, presumably because they don't know of any significant communities on them.

The server is fine. I'd rather not switch the server last minute because there MIGHT be Extreme Christian vs Atheist chat.

It would also split up some of the CoG members.

As an apathetic agnostic I enjoy extreme Christian vs. Atheist chat. It is a nice break from the who'd win a fight between batman and superman arguments.
