I don't even watch this show and I firmly believe they cannot kill him off. He's too good of an actor.

Well, the actor himself said in an interview that he believed the show would end with Walter dieing. The show ends with this season, so there is a reasonable chance he could die.

There has been a lot of foreshadowing, so maybe it's a red-herring. Maybe it ends like The Shield with Walter tamed, but not dead.

I don't know that I see someone else killing him. I see him dying as a result of his own schemes somehow. Killed by the cold hand of Science would seem fitting.

He has to die. He's all-consumed with his own ego; the show is driven by it, so it's fitting that the end of this show is tied to the end of his ego.

Will he sacrifice himself to protect his children? Maybe, one final act of penitence. Despite all the problems with Skylar I think he really does love his kids.

That said, I haven't been able to predict one fucking thing about this series, so who the hell knows. I'm not going to vote because I'm totally gonna be wrong.

The season opens with him a year later and having hair, so I don't think it's cancer that gets him in the end (at least, not on the show). From the opening, it looks like he's on the run. I could see him easily leaving a trail of death in his wake if not necessarily by his hand (Jesse, Mike, his family) and he's running from either his own demons or those who got to the others.

I could also see him leaving to save his family in the end too, as long as his reasons for beginning to cook remain the same at their core. I know he said he's in the empire business, but I want to believe still that his original goal of providing for his family when he's gone remains unaltered even if the path to it does.

He very, very clearly COUGHED when he was looking at himself in the mirror. It wasn't an awful cough, but it was pretty similar to some of the coughs he made back in season 1.

That's true, I'd forgotten about him coughing. Depending on where that point is in the season, though I don't see that as being his "end" for the show.
