Yeah, I'll go the same route I took with WH:O, level the first guy with a good amount of PvE to experience that side of the game and dip into PvP now and again and level alts almost exclusively with PvP.

I will miss random world PvP though.

Same here. I've always loved random world pvp, but I guess trying to level in WvW will be a little like that?

I'll be following the "Whatever the fuck I feel like at the time" system of leveling. Since the quests both scale you down, and scale up rewards, I have no fear of outleveling content.

I'm leaving Monday morning for a 5 state tour. I'm hoping to be back late Thursday or early Friday morning. I just need enough time to pick up a new monitor, headset, and set up mumble. Grab a few hours of sleep and start checking the servers around 11pm central. Can't wait. I think I'll join the rest of the CoG'ers and join Sanctum of Rall.

Man, every day I start up the program to make sure I'm up-to-date and every day there's a new update.

Be sure to update so you're not stuck downloading a massive patch on launch day.

Yep, I've been trying to keep up-to-date too. Not so bad if you start it up very day.

Argh... new laptop has been ordered but I'm still on a business trip for at least a week and more likely 2 - 3. Hell I can't even go home to pick up my laptop until the 2nd. I really wanted to be there on opening day but I'll get over it. Just means everyone will have a head start on me rather than me getting to enjoy the head start.

I don't think I've ever been quite as excited for a game release as I am about Guild Wars 2. I never even played the first one, but there's something about this one that has me salivating.

BTW, Ten19, I know we played Aion together but I don't remember what your character name was. What was it, again?

I'm walking into this one completely blind and I'm kinda excited about it. Gonna log in when it opens, get my name, get my bearings, and prepare to hit it hard next day.

I didn't play Aion after the first 30 days or so, so I actually had to log-in to the myAion page to figure out the answer. The character was Aeo, a level 13 Cleric. Maybe since it's F2P I should log-in and poke at it so I have something MMO'y to play until GW2 launches.

Oh shiz, thanks for saying that. I didn't realize Aion had gone free to play. It has my favorite crafting system of all time. OF ALL TIME.

Seems odd to me to do stress tests while people are at work.

Woo, time to try out the Guardian or spend more than 20 min with the Warrior class...unless this is another one of those phantom stress tests I've heard so much about

The devs say the stress tests in these hours are aimed towards Europe.

And the devs not having to work late probably doesn't hurt either.
