If it makes you feel any better, GMG completely fucked up the launch and still hasn't sent any keys out. Their forums are a mess right now because of it.

They sent me a email this morning telling me the key will be here and about 40 minutes. So we shall see. They really don't have their shit together like Amazon that's for sure. Amazon sent me the Darksiders 2 code last friday for pre-downloading.

Figured I'd crash once I start the download. o_o

That really sucks. My Darksiders II key was available from them as soon as I paid. Pre-loaded it last night, played it tonight when it unlocked.

I hope they take care of everybody in short order. It's great to be able to offer a nice deal to people to draw them to your site, but not if you can't hold up your end.

I haven't bought anything from GMG after the bullshit they put me through with Mass Effect 3. I eventually got my key, but it was far too much of a hassle. It should be as simple as: Insert cash, receive key.

Yeah, I'd been buying from them for about a year and this is the first problem I've had. Shame because they always have great deals, but this was a release I was really excited about.

Oh well, lesson learned. I'll just pony up the extra bucks and preorder directly on Steam for anything I care about getting day one from here on out.

Saving $5-10 to not get a game I was really looking forward to when I expected it and actually had time to play it some isn't worth it for me, no. I had free time tonight, I'm slammed the rest of the week.

There's also the whole "sending out emails with the time keys will be furnished and then not" thing which has thoroughly irritated me.

There have also been some reports that a few keys have gone out to recent purchases, meanwhile my preorder placed June 1 is nowhere in sight. That actually rather pisses me off.

Have you simply checked the list of keys on your account? GMG's done this before, hell some games they never sent me a key at all. Appeared in my account though. Not the most professional bunch but they don't gouge Australians, so I actually save anything up $40-$50 when I use them.

Best I can tell, orders placed for North American keys aren't being fulfilled. There's a nearly 600 post thread on their forums complaining, and there's been no response from GMG.

War in the North is a weird game. Some really entertaining action RPG combat, and some decently compelling loot-gathering addictive qualities, but it felt really repetitive really fast. I suspect it would be a lot better in co-op, though.

Thanks for the heads up on War in the North. I've had a fancying for biffing bad people with swords and been on a bit of a LotR trip, so this was perfect. Especially because, after the coupon and trading in a couple of the free games they've given away recently, it cost me a whole £2.

EDIT: It just occurs to me that £2 is what budget Spectrum games on cassette tape used to cost from my local newsagents in 1988 when I first started gaming.
